Safe Communities Initiative, Inc. is committed to assisting agencies, regardless of budget, in developing safer and more effective ways to conduct a dangerous job. As a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, we connect agencies with budget disparities with subsidized or free training through our partner, Legacy Tactics. Agencies receive the same training provided to higher-budget Tier 1 agencies. We are committed to serving every public servant who puts on kit to defend their communities. Bad actors and gunfights do not discriminate; deputy to DEVGRU, everyone deserves the best training, and budgets should not preclude anyone from receiving life-saving knowledge.
Our Approach
Safe Communities Initiative, Inc. provides necessary funding for agencies that meet certain budgeting requirements to still receive subsidized or free training.
The funding is provided through state and federal grant awards, but more importantly, through the generosity of private citizens and businesses that support effective, safe, and community-oriented police training.
