Drew's 20-year career began in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, with the 5th Special Forces Group, where he gained multi-lateral combat experience from numerous deployments to the Middle East. Drew then screened and passed the Operator Training Course and went to The Unit as a Tier-1 operator. As an experienced SMU operator, Drew became the CQB Troop Chief instructor for the Special Forces assaulters training course at SFARTAETC.
The recipient of a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts, Drew medically retired in 2019. After retiring, Drew spent three years assisting other Tier-1 operators in successfully transitioning to civilian life. Drew is now focused on developing and testing tactical methodologies and the company's growth and outreach.
Dave spent over half his career as an Assault Team Leader in The Unit, the Army’s Tier-1 JSOC component. Leading a team of six members, Dave’s team executed over 350 combat missions globally through direct orders from the Oval Office. In addition to leading his team, Dave was also responsible for briefing ambassadors, members of Congress, and foreign government officials on national security and strategy. Dave also led expeditionary task forces of over 150 personnel, including U.S. OGAs, joint U.S. military, law enforcement, and numerous international partners.
Dave culminated his 20-year service with a Silver Star, three Bronze Stars for combat service, a Purple Heart, and a Joint Service Commendation Medal with Valor. Dave completed his service leading the Military Free Fall training cell for the Unit.
Brian joined the Navy in 2003 and his first SEAL Team in 2005. After serving six years as an assaulter and sniper at an East Coast SEAL Team deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, Brian screened and successfully passed the 9-month selection process to join DEVGRU. As a DEVGRU assaulter, Brian continued a high-tempo deployment cycle to Iraq and Afghanistan before assuming command of an assault element as an Assault Team Leader.
As a Navy SEAL at DEVGRU, Ozzie operated as the project lead in a new experimental unit focused on developing combat capabilities in maritime and undersea environments. Upon completion of the project, Ozzie volunteered for a combat deployment with another Team, where he continued his deployment rotations as the RECCE/Sniper Team Leader. Following his military career, Ozzie continues his combat service as a volunteer in the defense of Ukraine, deploying as a senior enlisted advisor and team leader.
Beginning his Navy SEAL career in 2012 as a member of the SEAL Delivery Vehicle teams, Lou immediately gained experience in highly sensitive undersea mission sets in non-permissive environments. After moving to DEVGRU in 2017, Lou continued to garner significant combat experience and capabilities as a squadron assaulter before becoming a Team Leader in 2019.
After his military service, Lou immediately volunteered to support Ukraine on the battlefield, deploying with other teammates in defense against the invasion.
Sean began his career quickly after 9/11, joining the Navy and, soon after that, the SEAL Teams. After three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Sean jumped to Tier 1 and joined DEVGRU Gold Squadron in 2005. Spending 15 years at DEVGRU, Sean gained invaluable experience as an SMU Assault Team Leader and Lead Breacher through multiple combat operations across the globe.
Serving ten years as a Navy SEAL sniper and team leader, Seamus gained valuable experience on multiple deployments to the Horn of Africa. After finishing his military service, Seamus continued seeking opportunities to serve around the globe. In 2023, he assisted in training and advising the defense of persecuted local nationals in a war-torn Southeast Asian country. Most recently, he has volunteered on the frontlines in Ukraine, assisting in the country’s defense.
With nine years of special operations experience, Spence brings a wealth of expertise to tactical law enforcement. His background combines advanced tactical proficiency with a deep understanding of constitutional law, case law, and use-of-force policy, making him a trusted resource for bridging military and law enforcement practices.
During his career in Special Operations, Spence served as an assaulter, platoon medic, and assault team leader, excelling in high-stakes surgical environments. He also held collateral roles as a freefall jumpmaster and helicopter HRST/C master, further showcasing his versatility and leadership.
Spence remains dedicated to supporting the tactical law enforcement community. He is actively pursuing certification as a sworn law enforcement officer in Florida, where he will serve with his sponsor agency as a SWAT team member, continuing his mission to protect and serve at the highest level.
J.T.’s special operations career was served as a Critical Skills Operator in 2nd Marine Raider Battalion, MARSOC. There, J.T. served as a Team Chief and assaulter conducting operations worldwide. J.T. also served as a Chief Instructor for the Close-Quarters-Battle Combatives program, developing the MARSOC Combatives program from the ground up and certifying over 150 Critical Skills Operators in CQB Combatives.
After serving ten years in the Marine Corps supporting Special Operations Task Force missions, Niko served as an instructor training MARSOC operators in surveillance and counter-surveillance, tactical communication, and urban reconnaissance, as well as leading OPFOR for SEAL and MARSOC training evolutions.
In 2017, Niko shifted to law enforcement special purpose K9 training, working with K9 units worldwide. In 2021, Niko began working as a trainer and kennel master for Valhalla K9 and Cobra Canine, training and studying canine behavior as a supporting asset of law enforcement SWAT and DOD Special Operations missions.
A veteran of the 75th Ranger Regiment, Josh served as an Assault Team Leader and led multiple direct-action raids against hardened targets throughout his 12-year career. Josh continues to deploy overseas in a direct-action capacity under regulation by a U.S. government agency.
Evan served eight years as a Senior EOD Team Leader attached to the SEAL Teams. Leading the EOD element, Evan deployed with three counter-terrorism teams across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Evan is Legacy’s SME on EOD/CBRN/WMD considerations and contingencies related to tactical operations.
